Mastropieri appointed as expert for the European Commission IEC Programme: on track with the Green Deal project valuations

Eng. Giuseppe Mastropieri, Ceo of Rea Srl, is in charge of the role of expert for the European Innovation Council of the European Commission, to evaluate small and medium-sized enterprises projects proposals for the Horizon 2020 programme, that offers financial support- either grant and equity- for sustainable technologies devolpment in the energy and environmental transition of the european economy.

The EIC Accelerator (previously known as SME Instrument) is a new European programme that supports small and medium-sized companies and promotes financing innovative projects to accelerate their economic growth in european and international markets.

Innovation proposal’s bankability, risk level and the disruptive potential on this competitive scenario are evaluated, to give boost to the innovative start-ups and  foster their growth and scale up.

Mastropieri having completed the first projects slot evaluation, has now been given new tasks for the Green Deal cut off, as evidence of the main role of renewable energy on EU investment strategies.

Mastropieri states: “Never as in this moment of crisis post Covid 19 pandemic, Green Deal is an unique occasion for the european economic relaunch. The Eu Recovery package offers new instruments for revampimp the energy transition and Green economy contributes to assist the economic players to support the green transformation in Europe. Horizon 2020 drives the management and technology growth of promising enterprises able to promote breakthrough technologies and global sustainable innovations”.
