REA partner of CAAB for the new PV plant combined with an energy storage system in grid parity
It has been presented in Bologna, inside the municipal hall of Palazzo d’Accursio, the project of the new 450 kW PV plant promoted by CAAB (“Project Caab 3”), combined with one of the first utility scale energy storage system (50kW/210kWh) with lithium-ion battery technology intended for self-consumption, and capable to provide energy to three charging stations for electric vehicles.
REA supported CAAB in the whole development of the project with a tailored advisory service – both technical and financial – starting from the energy audit, the authorizations’ process and until the entitlement to the funds from Fondo Energia, revolving fund of Emilia Romagna Region dedicated to energy efficiency projects.
After the feasibility studies, the project has been developed entirely by REA’s new engineering area, enhanced with the arrival of Eng. Fabio Amico who boasts 15 years of experience in the renewable energy field, and that will run also the project’s executive phase through the work supervision, until the commissioning planned in October 2018.
